Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

What are these inputs for in the Loopy Pro AU (in Drambo)?

What are these inputs for when you load LP as an AUv3 in Drambo? And how do I access them inside LP?

Is this the App Store version of loopy pro or a beta?

  • I think all depends on how many tracks one has active in the LoopyPro session, but since I don’t have LoopyPro I can’t check it…
(I mean seriously I can’t buy every single app just for testing purposes LOL).

    Ah, yes, it's the beta!

  • Beta of Drambo or LoopyPro? (Drambo 2.2 just dropped btw.)

  • Beta of LP, Drambo 2.2 App Store version. Although I recall seeing this in the previous Drambo too (I think).

It's not this. The LP session has 10 donuts, one input track, five color tracks, and one output (master) track.

Ok, It looked like a nice way to tap all the inputs of all the Tracks, AUv3 Inputs Side-Chain AUv3's inputs etc. hosted in LoopyPro.
There's also been some changes in Drambo as tho how it exposes inputs for the AUv3's...

  • LP 1.1 AUv3 has multi-channel ins and outs. That's what you're seeing there. You can hit "+" button in LPs mixer to add output buses (or rather, to use them - the number of outputs is fixed).

  • OK got it! I was looking for a way to choose those inputs in LP's input channel strips, but I see that they are created automatically when you add an input channel.

Super cool! Now I can send each Drambo track to a different input on LP. This is very handy.
