Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Best vocal remover 2022?

Hey!

My eight year old wants to try sing to some songs with vocals to practice, then sing by herself to the same songs now just with her own voice. What is the best vocal remover in 2022?

    None are super good.

AnyTune Pro + has a fairly easy to use way of carving out individual parts using combined frequency range filtering and pan position in the mix. I've had pretty good luck with it.

  • On iPad I have no clue if there’s anything that works well, but on my Mac iZotope RX does an amazing job at removing vocals.

  • I use the iOS app called, "Let's Unmix". It was how I did the Drake remix.

Tried this a while ago and found it pretty neat.

  • Algoriddim Djay with Neural mix feature have very good algorithms of isolation.

I think this is what you’re looking for. Can pitch change, change tempo, isolate tracks.

  • As far as I know, all of the iOS-based apps that remove vocals are using Spleeter behind the scenes (I could very well be wrong), so the results would be nearly identical. You can also run Spleeter on the web, or on your local computer.

Izotope RX9 is really good at this but it’s for desktop, obviously.

  • Thanks guys!

I checked them all out and went for Let’s Unmix. Nice price and sounds good, it leaves very little artefacts when taking away different parts, totally happy!

This will make my life so much easier, also thanks to whoever it was in another thread telling you can screen record from You Tube, load into apps and get a wav.-file, just like Let’s Unmix works. Never thought of that, stupid me. I have rigged up two iPads, connected them then recorded the audio output to the other one…

    Just love this forum.

Used it now for a couple of weeks and it is great, works like a charm! You wanna figure out a bass line of a song for a cover, Let’s Unmix! You want the vocals from a song and bring your own version music-wise, Let’s Unmix! You need to figure out how the hell that special drumtrack is built, Let’s Unmix!

OK, you got the point. Cheers!

Doctor Mix made a video recently using this app to remove parts https://apps.apple.com/fr/app/audioretune/id1582604840

    Video here, see 1’25’’

    Good catch! Love his channel!

Audioretune is a subscription app though whereas Let’s Unmix is a pay once and use.
