Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Advice iOS/Ableton Live set up please

Hi,

I've produced using Logic on Mac for many years.

I'm working on a new setup using iOS and Ableton Live and need some advice please.

I'd like to use Loopy Pro as the main host on iOS. I'll use it to host AUv3s controlled by other MIDI plug-ins. (I liked the way Loopy Pro does this).

I'd like everything to be synced to Live using Ableton Link.

I'd like to use Live only to record the audio and for mixing.

I'd like to use LK to control Live for the mixing side of things.

Is this the right way to go about things? I don't want to use AUM or Audiobus.

It seems fairly straight forward.

Any advice? Is there anything I need to know? Any particular way I need to set things up?

Thanks.
