Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Awesome Noise Gate auv3 - released by AnyoneAtAll?
I really like a good noise gate and one thing I really can't stand is a threshold without a super fine setting. On desktop I use Pro-G. I just can't see how a gate can command the price ProG does for iPad. As good as it is, it is still just a gate. Is there anything else in auv3 form that compares?

pro-g is available on the ipad as well
@rickelal3
@Ailerom how fine do need it to be? I know of these two:

I'm just looking for the perfect Phil Collins drum sound and it's quite difficult to duplicate, even using the best software-based noise gates available.
I found that for many applications the only noise gate I get get to sit right was the module in Voxengo Voxformer. I have ProG on desktop and it is good for most applications.
@NoiseFloored Thanks. I have the AD plugin and find it won't always sit right where I want. Haven't tried the Mangoo version. Would be good to see some opinion on it but most seem less picky than me. There is also the 4 pockets one. Maybe I'll just have to buy them all to find out. I just feel like 29.99 is a lot for a noise gate, but maybe it will be the only option.
drambo has one
The Pro G is the best I've come across on iOS.
With regards to the 4Pockets one, it's worth taking a look at NuRack as this will allow you to take the default gate and customise it to something more of your liking. It was discounted recently, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. All the 4Pockets stuff is in a constant discount rotation, so if you want to save a few bucks you can wait for it to be discounted again.
I use woodngate
https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/woodngate/id1436196516?l=da
Don’t know if it will work for you.
How fine does the threshold go? 0.x, 0.0x?
You need the SSL talkback compressor as well as the gated reverb
also bear in mind they most probably only had one
master reverb in the studio in those days so the tone of the reverb would
have all of the instruments in there as well instead of only the snare sound.
I use blue mangoo noise gate
http://bluemangoo.com/noisegate_downward.php
Works fine on lots of things.
Stash reverb on drumparts and gate.
How fine does the threshold go?
Thanks for the reference!
Here is a good story about the origin

Love these kinds of accidental discovery stories.
@Lorichs Thanks for the video. Doesn't really answer my question though. So controls will reveal finer settings when manually editing the setting.
how about a step gate? like 16 or 32 steps? are there any of these on ios?
