Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

StudioMux with Logic?

Is anyone here using the new StudioMux with Logic on a Mac? A few people on the StudioMux forum are reporting much higher latency than I experience with Reaper or Ableton Live 10 or 11 -- and am wondering if Logic is behaving differently or if there might be a trick to getting it to work well with Logic.

  • Yeah, working well here. I do occasionally see some latency when connecting for the first time and what seems to fix it is to enable the IDAM connection briefly then disable it and reconnect SM (since enabling IDAM disconnects the SM plugin inside Logic). After that I have no perceptible latency.

    Tx! I'll pass it on.
