SOLVED Lost every track made in Logic

While getting rid of my 200gb Apple storage option, I had to switch some things off to reduce to a lower storage option.

Now Logic shows all my tracks are no longer available! Can’t find a way to get them back. Can’t believe that Logic does not store locally as well as in the cloud?

Today I don’t like my iPad much. Yes, it’s probably my fault, but it simply isn’t good enough that it’s so easy to lose projects. Don’t think I will get Logic again next year, unless I find there is a way to get them back.

    To be honest I'm not sure. While I didn't see any size reduction in the Logic app in the iPad storage tab in settings, I presumed the data still had to be there. I just flicked around settings on and off till eventually the tracks showed again in the Recents tab and was then able to download them all off iCloud.

    I think Apple designed the whole mess so that you seem reliant on their iCloud storage, when you are not.

    I am using my iPad more as sound module with hardware these days, so I'm thinking of replacing the recording side with a macbook eventually.

    Ah now I see. Well if you have Cubasis 3, you may end up using that for the recording side? :) (Unless you tried CB3 and ended up frustrated. Ngl Logic worked better for me for recording from the OP-1 Field than did CB3. And Logic's AI Mastering Assistant took the guesswork out of mastering those recordings.)

    Yep I used to use Cubasis 3 and or Beatmaker 3. Then Nanostudio taught me the pleasure that is a tempo track. I actually am beginning to love Logic Pro, although still learning my way around it. I admit I do hate being tied to subscription.

    Just as an aside. I would love a DAW based on AUM, where you use AUM as normal, but with a touch of a button, it transforms all the tracks in AUM to a linear timeline set up with the complexity of Logic. Or, a program that would make Logic tracks from AUM tracks. Or the same thing with EG Nodes.

    I hate being tied to a sub, but pretty much all AI models are subs. A fiver per month versus a fiver per track when it comes to AI mastering audio. Not bad. ;) Tempo tracks are amazing. One of many reasons I love NS2.

    Sounds awesome. Currently one has to record multitracks from scratch in AUM and then import into Logic. Would be nice to have something like that. Loopy Pro seems well on its way to achieving that though. Comes pretty close I'd reckon.
