Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

I dunno what they have done in that section that it won’t let you load wavs - must not be properly implemented? You can load wavs though, using the ‘edit’ button in slots, as I mentioned in my post above. But that is very fiddly if it is the only way!!
That manual you linked above does not open for me by the way @Jumpercollins - is it definitely different from the desktop manual do you know?
Can see where you coming from, bit daft you have to overwrite presets to add your own samples.
Must be an oversight of some kind - would be madness not to have other options
Any chance of a working iOS (not desktop) manual @Jumpercollins? I still cant open the link you posted earlier
I have the Unholy Drums and after download I just clicked the file (like the manual says) and it loaded just fine. On MacOS it was an installer for it.
Gav, you’ve got an DM from me…
It says on the iOS description that import your own files is an option so hopefully it gets fixed soon.
The link is protected by time signature and other secure parts.
So guys, is there enough in there for techno, lots of machines/electronic percussions?
Apparently it’s protected!
Lol, who did you get it from? I asked Klevgrand for the iOS manual but am still waiting. Damn, it looks like ios is missing some crucial features like the automatic organising one. And there must definitely be a bug as import is not working as described there.
Kinda happy my 'insta buy days' are permanently over
I would have gone totally nuts in a bad way with BP shooting thru the roof bumping into similar issues mentioned in this thread...
I sent you an e-mail Gav. If you already have OneShot installed on iPad you can open manual from standalone app by click to "i" button in the right upper corner.
Thanks, didn’t see that on the description when I checked.
Must be error on their part, as it’s listed in the App Store description:
“ You can easily import your own samples just by dropping audio files into OneShot, letting the built-in smartness do the heavy lifting and automatically organize the samples into playable instruments, just a click away.”
Thanks - for me on the beta version that I button didn't work previously. I guess the file was not ready so I just had access to the desktop manual. I still don't see any way to import multiple samples currently. Does anyone else?
@Gavinski Got the doc. As a pdf but can’t share it on here for some reason. It’s just let me share on Dischord so must be a forum problem. Do you have a Dischord channel?
Edit, Think I found you on Discord pdf sent.
Thanks a few other ppl already sent me it
Main issue still remains - cannot see a way to import multiple samples at the same time. If anyone has figured that out, let me know.
I created a slot but can’t open it ?
Actually, according to the iOS manual, it does not do that heavy lifting part on iOS, which is a real pity. I pasted the relevant section below. On iOS, since we don’t have drag and drop, we just get multi-imported files in one slot - there is no intelligent sorting as there is on desktop. But the more crucial issue is that multi-import of files currently just doesn’t seem possible on iOS at all.
“Drag and drop (desktop only)
To create one or several new slots at once from one or more files on the desktop, drop them into
the slot manager. When dropping more than one file, a dialog will ask how the file should be
imported.
• Automatically - The plugin automatically tries to figure out
which files should belong to the same slot and thus create
several multi-sampled slots, or split them up on different
slots. The algorithm is based on file names and might not
work in all scenarios.
• One Slot Per File - Creates one new slot per audio file.
• All files in one slot - Puts all files in one and the same slot.
Instant trigger mapping (desktop only)
To create a new slot and instantly get the Trigger on a specific desired midi note, drop one or more
files directly on the desired midi note in the keyboard overview. If the note already contains a
trigger, a prompt will appear with the option to replace the one that is already there.
Without drag and drop
To create a new slot from one or more files without drag and drop, click “New Slot” in the main
header. Then click “Import” and select the files to be imported. This will create one slot with the
selected files on import.”
@filo01 and @HolyMoses thnx for the pdfs
A quick demo in AUM.
But manuals are public, the link is at the bottom of this page?!

Their App Store description probably needs an edit then, as it sounds like it has the same functionality as the desktop version, whereas the manual suggests otherwise.
This was going to be an instant purchase for me, but I think I’ll wait a bit on this one now, see how this pans out. Not really interested in a stripped down version.
Yes - seems there has been a bit if sloppiness in both implementation and communication. Looks like lack of 'magic sorting' is just the way it's gonna be on iOS. Multi sample import of some kind is a must though, for anyone wanting to quickly make their own kits, so hopefully someone can enlighten us if that is indeed currently possible. If it is not possible, it must be a bug, as the manual for iOS mentions it is possible.
@Gavinski Drag and Drop of files is a feature of IOS.
One can open the filebrowser in slide over mode above AUM and drag&drop midi files over into the pianoroll of Helium AUv3 , or a wav file into Neon AUv3.
(I’m right now checking where i can verify drag&drop of multiple files, will update this post)
I know Ki! But it doesn't work in this app. Probably JUCE limitation
Gonna be interesting to see all the videos later on and I would not be surprised if some excuses for missing features will be made on the developers behalf because they already gave out the promo's for the videos to be made in the first place and anything negative will likely not play out so well in the long run.
Multi-File selection and import is already possible using the stock-standard Document picker but that is something the developer will have to add support for in their app, if they didn't then that's a real poo poo...
Oh bummer, that doesn‘t sound good…
I’m holding out with my purchase as my intended main use-case for OneShot! was to finally organize the tons of ‚Sanples from Mars‘ drum samples into kits.
In the videos of the desktop plugin it looked so easy and convinient to setup robin/round or velocity zones by just dragging stuff over.
Sounds good.
Is all the midi from helium on the same track ?
Is there something in one shot that will only respond to a midi note, where as another hit not ?
Does one shot have a swing function and is it midi mapable ?
Whats the difference than using drambo ( 4 velocity layer sampler ) With found or even these samples ?
