Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

  • I like the simplicity and peace. Your line is getting better. This might appeal to @Paulieworld.

  • This is quite lovely. I like how it breathes. I’m hearing vocals over the top. A nice love story.

  • Thanks, @LinearLineman. Scaler2 is helping me, and my wrinkles getting better might have something to do with it. @Geotony also helped me to focus more on pacing. He can shred up a storm but never seems to rush. Thanks, @Paulieworld, I would like to be able to hear more parts in my head.

  • Thanks for the follow. Right back at ya! I hear stuff. Don’t know whether it’s a blessing or a curse. I spent most of my adult life playing in bands. This iPad solo stuff is all new to me, but I’m liking it.

  • The phrasing gives it that vocal support quality, and has an air of grandeur about it with some lovely chord progressions.
I'd add more lower down instrumentation after 1:54, but not a criticism, a lovely piece.

  • Thanks, @Paulieworld, then it’s not surprising you’re now a high caliber one-man band. It’s all new to me, and I am also really enjoying it.

Thanks, @belldu, for listening and giving positive feedback. Glad you mentioned adding lower instrumentation. I take it as good advice and should probably try listening to more stuff that can help with this. Much appreciated.

  • Some of it sounded from a musical like west side story but also could be a soundtrack over the remains of a battlefield...the last minute of 'on/off' dynamics felt a little abrupt to me, still good emotive music.

  • Great stepping off point - my suggestion would be to keep this as "version 1" and do a version 2 with added bass drones, maybe some percussion. Good stuff!

  • Thanks, @deadpoetlive and @BillS , I really appreciate your listening and giving me useful feedback.

  • Very nice. I’m tend to agree that some lower pitched sounds would really add to this one. Bills version 2 suggestion is a good one!

  • Much appreciated, @GeoTony. That is good advice. Maybe I will revisit it
