    I too am a fellow lover of the G-Funk era.

    Baby Audio BA-1. It even has a G-funk preset.

    The MiniMoog of course is also great for this too, but as far as iOS apps, I prefer the BA-1 as the app just sounds better & smoother to me, especially for fast legato playing.
