Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
AUM USB input rename?
Is it possible to rename “USB 1”?
When I move the input to the right I see the actual name of the input.
Thank you for help and answer.

Hi, @Waldemar.
I guess what you want to do cannot be done at this time.
A hack/hallucination that doesn’t help anyone (a.k.a. my hobby):
Suppose there is a channel strip with "USB in Sources" and "Mix Bus with edited name in Destinations". Then, another channel strip with "the aforementioned Mix Bus with edited name" in Sources might be a visual substitute for a USB with edited name.
Cons: The total number of channel strips is twice as many as USB-Sources.
(The below attached image file is an edited version of the above screenshot. No one needs to check it as it is almost identical for the hack/trick part.)
Hello cramdog,
thank you very much for coming back to this.
But I think that would make a lot of sense.
You can also edit the source name.
