What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. Did a thing this morning in koala sampler to celebrate Ferragosto, ostensibly a catholic festival commemorating the death and ascension of Mary. These days here in Italy it signifies the beginning of the end of Summer, after today families slowly start going home from the beach and start preparing for the return to work and school.

    Lovely work. The rush of sound coming in over the drone feels… ecstatic. Great accompanying vid too. Lo Fi a/v rules! :) I aspire to the kind of fuzzy middle distance sound you have here. How are you achieving it?

    Thank you!! I love kinetiform, in the end I just did a screen recording whilst doodling, it has a Kandinsky or soviet cartoon sort of vibe!!

    Thank you!!!! Hmm.. I kind of wing it, lots of time-stretching and resampling in koala with full reverb and some tape delay. The warble and pitch shift effect help a lot I think… make it all sort of out of focus :))

Not so close to Verona, I live in Versilia, it’s the northern west coast of Tuscany, just above Pisa and just below Cinque Terre :) I think I’m pretty isolated from any iPad music makers, and all my musician friends and contacts are more into proper instruments no matter what I say
