What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together.     That's a fun find. That old "tv sound" music would be fun to emulate with the right samples. Come to think of it, there should be a sample library of tinny tv orchestra type stuff. It would sound great for some of @McD's stuff.

    What a great idea… I’m going to put my StaffPad work through some FX apps in AUM and aim for “Tinny TV Orchestra”. Hold my beer.

    A really great collaboration.
    I’ve always had a special fondness for classical symphony music. Watching Boston Pops on PBS with my Dad as a kid. The Barber of Seville and other classics in Saturday morning cartoons. Playing percussion in the Symphony Orchestra in High School. Going to the Meyerson Hall to see the Dallas Symphony Orchestra when my son was learning to play violin. So many great memories.
    Thank you for bringing them back to the front of my mind.

    Glad you enjoyed the piece. It is quite long, but we tried to keep it moving and bring surprises !

    I usually tend towards 3 - 4 minutes. No particular reason other than it seems to be what most are doing. About a year ago I did a collaboration with @McD using several of his StaffPad Sketches. He provided all of the music and I just arranged them into a larger composition. I didn’t add anything of my own other than a few common production tricks. The end result is 11 minutes, but I never get tired listening to it.

    Wow that's a great piece! So you pieced everything together? That must have been lots of fun!

    @McD provided me with a huge assortment of his StaffPad Sketches. I've done a few collaborations, but never anything like this before. An entirely new experience for me with no previous model to work from. I just selected pieces and tried them with others. Some overlapping, some overlaying each other. It must have been fun because the time just flew by. A short time later I put together Sketchbook II... and I still have enough left in the folder for Sketchbook III.
