Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Great tones.
Lovely relaxing music with just slight undertones of terror....
Really nice ambient piece. I have been dabbling in that genre lately and liking it. I couldn’t distinguish your GeoShred parts. I’m sure that intentional, but I was longing for some David Gilmore style solos.
I started something a few months ago called Antikythera, based on a similar baffling relic. Maybe I’ll finally do something with it. Have a good one, bro.
A headline as a title, a bit teasing 😁
Very nice piece of music Tony.
Great sounds and textures, and a lovely ambient piece to have on in the background.
What’s the relic?
It’s a mystery!
Wait, you didn’t already have FRMS?? 😅
I missed out on their sales because I already have everything Imaginando (everything that I want anyway).
I’ve passed on BAM because another groovebox/host app is the last thing I need. For example, I bought EGNodes a while back, and still haven’t given it any attention.
Anyway, no matter what the instrument, or what the host or DAW, (you don’t mention it, but we all assume you’re still using AUM), no matter what the tools, a @GeoTony piece is always worth the stop and listen!
Thank you @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr , @deadpoetlive , @Paulieworld , @Pxlhg , @richardyot , @Optahealth , @NeuM and @Edward_Alexander 🙏
Paul, the GeoShred part was the repeated melody fragment, recorded separately in AUM and then looped in the file player.
Title / relic / mystery etc was the best I could come up with the letters FRMS 😊
Edward, I’m not a great app collector to be honest. Most of them pass me by as I feel I’ve not used the ones I’ve got enough (and certainly not mastered them !)… yes everything I do is in AUM. I guess I’m just familiar with it now and given the sort of music I do don’t really see the need to branch out 🤔 Thanks for your kind words as well 👍
Now that was super cool 👍
Nice!
A very cool piece. My iPad mini 5 shudders at the thought of 8 instances of FRMS.
Awwwosme work as always Tony
Almost regret not getting FRMS
That’s very good, Tony. It’s hard to be original with ambient music, maybe that’s good. We humans like familiarity.
I know about the antikythera @Paulieworld. An ancient computer. I think they made a replica and figured out how it worked, but not sure.
Many thanks @jo92346 , @lasselu , @MadeofWax , @yellow_eyez and @LinearLineman 👍
@MadeofWax I had to record the first 4 instances of FRMS and then play them as audio in the AUM file player while I worked on the second 4 instances. There seems to be an issue with FRMS using too many resources which the developers are aware of and they plan to tackle later this year.
One theory is that it was used to predict astronomical events such as eclipses, or the future positions of stars. Who knows for sure? I've seen pictures of recreations. I just thought it seemed like a good theme for a song with lots of small, moving parts with ambiguous functions.
I was a little disappointed, I thought you were going to be using the Relic Waves synth. Interesting you used FRMS with Geoshred. I'd like to hear more of that.
So many instances but not overcrowded.
