EG Nodes Korg crash issue

Hi. I’ve just started playing around with eg nodes. Was working fine for a few days, but now instruments keep crashing, especially Korg gadget items. And then they disappear from the instrument select pane so I can’t even refresh them. Any one else experiencing this? Better yet, any solutions?! Cheers

    ive not had any issues with the korg apps ive used within EG Nodes, but have had some issues with some in Logic. its not all the korg apps, so they might be different ones ive used in each host. i will check later if i can. Some of the korg apps ive used in many saves in Nodes and never had any issues.

    i did message the EG Nodes dev with an issue once and he was very helpful. ive just come to the conclusion though that while most apps are generally stable, some just dont go together well and that can be down to all sorts of things, like your ipad, the ios version and the way the wind blows lol

  • Thanks for the thoughts. I now can’t access any Korg instruments at all! How did you contact the developer? I can’t find any way to speak to him directly.

    There is support contact info at ElliottGarage.com. You might want to contact Korg as well, as I’ve had issue with them on Logic, so I doubt it’s just a Nodes issue, if at all.

    Also, if there is any other things that you use when they stop working. Try some practice saves just using individual Korg apps and see if it still happens.

    Do try the usual first though:

    Restart your device. If possible delate and redownload any apps that won’t cause you to lose anything. Sometimes redownloading apps just makes these sorts of issues go away.

    You can offload them instead of deleting, that way your data should stay on your device. You can do that via the storage menu in your device settings.

    Have you tried fully rebooting (use slide to power off to shut it down then power back up)?

  • Thanks. Will try offloading. Rebooted a couple of times, no change. Just tried it again and this time it worked for some reason. Still lost some work as it reloaded instruments from an earlier state, so not ideal, but good enough for now. Thanks all.

  • It also breaks down with Korg. It works fine with the rest of the plugins.
