Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Thank Jamie but I don’t use AUM or Loopy.
Maybe you need to revisit Auria Pro. Yes, 3 years ago it was majorly broken and frustrating but about 10 updates have came out since then. It is still my favorite place to mix and master.
Would I recommend somebody new pickup Auria? Probably not unless you need some of the features it excell at.
But Auria is far for dead and useless.
Thanks for pointing out facts!
And yes, Auria Pro isn’t dead yet!
Ok I’ll give it another shot @ecou

This week I’ll be answering more questions about Cubasis 3 and sharing some more tips - 100% Live on YouTube. Anything you’d like me to explain or demo just comment below and add it to the list. Click the link to set the reminder.
Although I’m not using Cubasis any more (since Logic Pro was born on iPad), but, I’m glad whatsoever for this iOS community to have great guy like you making dedicated videos around our beloved apps!!
So, thanks Jamie for your effort!! 👍👍🙏🙏

Awesome - thanks for this. Your videos on Cubasis are inspiring man.
(And ecou and Moses I retried Auria again and it doesn’t handle many auv3 before crackling, but I guess for mixing or mastering finished audio it’s still useful to some) - and i love logic and will always keep it as my desktop daw, but I’m on the Cubasis train for the foreseeable future.
I just finished mixing a tune in Auria and I had a ton load of Auv3 effects. A couple Auv3 drums I added too. I was a joy to use.
Did you try adjusting the buffer size in the settings ?

https://www.youtube.com/live/0JmHa2FnzaE?si=o2yBLoZcphf1iP8T In this weeks Cubasis 3 Workshop we’ll be having a look at how the DAW handles a 16 input, 8 output interface and I’ll be sending midi out to a 40 year old classic drum machine and recording the 12 outputs into Cubasis. We’ll also be using Doctor Vibe to have a look at adding some vintage sounding secret sauce to mix busses or a stereo out. All this plus top tips and questions answered - click the link to set a reminder.
Amazing to see your dedication and effort Jamie, great videos.
I’ve never given Cubasis a chance though of course I’ve bought every version at launch. You’re pushing me over the edge just when I was trying to stick to Logic!
@AtticusL : Ditto!!!
Jamie’s workshops are the best thing to happen to Cubasis 3 channels in a looooonng time. Jamie is the man and does an excellent job at tutorials but also answering questions. Thanks Jamie - Steinberg and Cubasis users are in your Debt
Finally - just read Cubasis 3 WILL be getting tempo/time sig track update!!
All we need is PDC + MIDI learn for 3rd party auv3 and we’re par for the course
Come on team Cubasis - let’s goooo
Hi @yellow_eyez
I do not know where this comes from. We usually announce new features, when they become available.
Please avoid confusion and disappointment, by posting topics like this.
Thanks
Lars
Sorry dude - it was said in German
When asked when/why tempo time sig hasn’t been updated in 6 years…..that’s where ^ maybe google translate did a poor job , otherwise, it’s vague and disappointing.
[PS HALion and Neo FM might have outmatched Logics library, but time/tempo sig and PDC are essential, while people are listening and confused , as that is no answer to the issue, so while im at it please upvote my feature request list so CB3 is taken seriously]
Hi @yellow_eyez
My response was: the feature remains on our list, and I hope it will not take too long getting there.
Lars
Halion/NeoFM outmatch stock Logic Pro instrument??
Hahaha - you’re such a funny guy!
Have you ever dig deep into Sculpture Alchemy or ES2 in Logic?
Logic Pro for iPad is without competition as an package of instruments FX and Apple Loops - 5 bucks a month for Logic to iPad feels like less than peanut money…
It is without competition , but I don’t rent software so I’ll use the very close second best, and yes I think HALion and Neo FM are without competition. I’m glad you enjoy my posts, I think your equally amusing .
This forum doesn’t need this kind of post. Laughing at someone that has a different opinion to you - we’re not in the playground. I got LP4iP when it first appeared. The peanut money now adds up to more than the cost of Cubasis 3 and the only thing I need it for is tempo track. I don’t need AI or loops or many of the other fancy things that sell Logic. What I need is the fundamentals - the essential basics of a DAW and I honestly think that a lot of that stuff is done better in Cubasis 3. It depends totally on what your needs are. For me, I don’t need Logic if Cubasis 3 gets a tempo track.

Ok, childish of me to ”laughing” at mr @yellow_eyez - excuse for that…
But, what I really mean was that Halion / NeoFM on iPad isn’t the same of quality as ditto on Cubase on desktop (my own experience) - yeah, they sounds great, and, Cubasis v3 is a really great DAW, but we all make our choises, and, if I’m going to be mobile 100% in the future, Logic Pro is the best way for me.
Have a good tuesday musiclovers!
Thanks for keeping this discussion peaceful! @Jamie_Mallender @HolyMoses @yellow_eyez
Another top show Jamie!! Thanks for the workshop
