Launchpad Pro MK3 Scale Mode with Korg Volca

Will the Launchpad Pro MK3 Scale Mode with work with Kork Volca Bass and Korg Volca FM2? I saw a post somewhere that Volcas do not receive scale mode midi but It doesn't seem right to me.

    I dont believe there is such a thing as scale mode midi. Scale mode just limits the amount of midi notes you have access to.

    Scale mode is for sending the correct notes in a given scale/key.
    The Korg Volca’s only receive the notes that are sent so basically it should work.
