How to add an AUV3 effect on a channel?

Hi, have tried both phone and ipad, and pre and post fader however the only option that opens if the inbuilt loop effects - what am I missing?

    Have yet tried rebooting?

    If you are running Loopy Pro as a standalone app, tapping on the add effect button will show all available AUv3 effects in addition to the built-in effects.

    In the AUv3 version of Loopy Pro, only the built-in effects are available because Auv3 cannot load other AUv3.

    If you are not seeing them , reboot your iPad or iPhone. If you still aren't seeing them after that, what OS version are you running?

    thanks mate, understand now. Have been running in AUM - so no good which I understand as you can't open an AUV3 inside an AUV3
