Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Thanks for demo’ing a free app Doug. I like the layout of this one.
The delay is so good
Is the switch on the delay on the left above the level knob a reverse switch?
No. There is a link to the manual in the app and plugin and it is worth reading. It is short and explains everything. That is the sync to host toggle.
Thanks @espiegel123
Just tried this it's great!; hat tip to Doug (@ theSoundTestRoom) without whom I would have never heard of it...
The IRs ("speaker" impulse response algorithms) are from Choptones -a very good company for "studio-grade" IRs . You can also load your own IRs -yay. The amp sounds themselves are designed by AI trained on a boutique Italian tube amp.
This amp sim in particular was in my experience better than most available on IOS as a pedal platform for physical pedals hooked into my interface. Very pleasantly surprised; most amp sims on IOS I have tried tend to perform poorly in this department.
When you turn up Gain the app auto-normalizes the volume, a great feature that defeats our subjective/natural "more is better" psycho-acoustic response.
Input and output meters change color easily allowing you to dial your interface level to what is optimal for the app -if it is blue, turn it up; if it is red, turn it down.
To be fair to other applications, perhaps it is the auto-normalizing functions and level optimizing features that contribute to its better performance as a pedal platform with external pedals?
2 Channel amp Clean/Dirt, each with Vol, Gain & Bass, Mid, Treble controls.
Tuner
Noise Gate
Overdrive -very musical.
Chorus (control in left top of the little box gives you stereo)
Delay -very nice/basic. Digital or modeled analog; mono or stereo. I like to stack delays; this one works extremely well with another premium Delay after it, such as Nembrini's Delay 3000 (modeled on Steve Vai's favorite Roland rackmount delay), Fabfilter's Timeless3, or etc.
Reverb -one knob! Not sure, but seems to do more than +/- volume(?).
Phase Shifter
Compressor -subtle/musical /doesn't over-squash /one knob.
High/low pass filters -get rid of the low rumble under say 100-ish Hz as every studio on planet earth would for your recordings
Very, very simple to use interface.
It's free! Don't think paid alternatives are better -most of the ones I have paid for I never use, being more of an non-modeled analog tone princess generally, but I am pleasantly surprised with this one.
Thanks again Doug!!!!
