Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Migrating to Loopy Pro from other programs

Does any one know of any conversion programs/apps to convert/import wav files into Loopy Pro?

I know I can manually import wav files into a project... but I'm looking for an automated way to import several hundred wav files into several hundred different Loopy Pro projects.

I noticed there is a Resources.plist and a Resources folder in the Loopy Pro IOS file structure... but when I simply copy my wav files into the Resources folder and edit the Resources.plist file, Loopy Pro ignores my additions.

How can this be done in an automated way so I don't spend months importing several hundred projects into Loopy Pro?

Sure would be nice if there was a way to load a bunch of existing folders into new projects. Those of us who are trying to migrate to Loopy Pro from other programs are having trouble making the switch.

We have years of time into other loopers and don't want to start over when switching to Loopy Pro.

Thank you.

  • And interesting question, @larryseyer

What exactly are you trying to convert, coming from which other App?

Maybe @Michael has an idea about such conversions, or there is already something on the roadmap...

He wrote that he has wav files that he wants to import into LP. I'm assuming these are loops. And he is asking if there is some sort of script that can import these wav files into separate projects (or perhaps import a group of wav files/loops into a project quickly).

    Yes, that's what he wrote.
And I asked from what App those projects come from - which may give a hint how to handle them.

One way to speed up the import process is to use Drag and Drop function in Loopy Pro. The slide over method (with Files app) should work:
