Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Things - Motor by AudioThing & Hainbach (Released)
Motor is a plugin effect that uses side-chaining to combine signals in new and interesting ways: put in any two signals and they will dance around each other like courting birds drunk on fermented cherries. Use it to gentle morph between sounds or rhythmically cut them up, affecting both volume and spatial position. Add life to the plainest signals with vibrato, or destroy them in interesting ways with extreme modulation speeds.

Ooooo yes 🙌🏻 any ETA yet? This is one of the ones I’ve been waiting on. Seems like a very interesting plugin. Been hoping to see it on iOS since I first saw that video a year (or more?) ago.
The rate goes up to 2000Hz so well into 'ring mod territory' when used on tremolo...
Nice! Not enough synths or mod effects on iOS work in the audio rate territory.
Pending Apple approval..Release is set for next week
I think that completes the Hainpack on iOS, doesn’t it?
Really looking forward to this one. I mean: Hainbach, Radiophonic Workshop, what’s not to love?
Looks fun.
Yes it does and an IOS bundle is coming for those that need to complete the set
The bundle will be some time after this release
Yep! They told me on IG it was coming but they had to figure out something to do with the sidechain engine and iOS. I’m glad they were able to.
Sick. Thanks!
I like the “sound” of this one 🙃
It’s out!!

Sorry if this has been answered already, but within AUM, how would I feed 2 signals into the same plug-in? Does it involve having a bus channel?
Apologies for dumb question
I have no idea how this works either
You add the extra inputs to effects slots on other channels using the Multibus Audio Unit Instances menu entry.
Google Drive took forever. Here you go guys. AUM side chain

Got it thanks
Perfect! Thx
You can tell I’d not tried it when I wrote this - it only has one extra input, which is slightly disappointing, as you can only combine two channels. Emphasis on “slightly” - it sounds fantastic after only a brief play, and I suspect there’s a lot of depth here. Using multiple instances might be interesting…
Hey Everybody! I made a quick Tutorial on how to use Motor (or other sidechain AUs) in AUM:

It is a simple and fast way to make static drones come alive, or to chop beats.
This gave me such a great idea to make something in Drambo. Genius! Thanks
You had me at "static drones". 😂
Well done once more to you and @audiothing .
Thanks for this vid, makes sense now.
However, which instance are you using to modulate the various parameters? The one on the right hand side? Or is it possible to play around with both instances?
Its the same instance, basically, so whichever node you tap it’ll open the same thing.
Thanks for this! Very useful for users new to multiple ins and outs in AUv3s.
And thank you for this plugin! 🙏
Gotcha! Thanks John
Well, that made me buy it...
Short musical demo here with a giveaway, also a written description of how to do the sidechaining in AUM in the pinned comment, as well as links to the insta and twitter giveaways:

I do love Hainbach (and his glorious accent, which is such a sweet counterpoint to Werner Herzog's!).
But I see yet another plug-in designed to make our sterile digital noises sound "real" and roll my eyes.
But then I watched that video! Wow, this sounds amazing. Very impressive.
Don't forget to insert the effect "pre-fader"
