Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • WaveStorm is still working on my iPad Pro 2018.

I still have it on my old iPhone. I really liked messing around with that app.

Maybe…. Tera Pro with the Wavetable IAP.
Maybe…. Bleass Wavetable app, I’m blanking on the name.

  • I have it on my iPad 6 2018… I forgot about it. Just tested ad it still works.

  • This looks so eye candy good.

  • Some devs really value UI and/or UX. And some are ugly but functional as hell. And some sound great, look great, and are difficult to wield.

The screenshot makes me want to play with it. A shame it’s not available anymore.

I’m sorry, spoke too soon. Unable to switch presets or tweak parameters.
The onboard keyboard is still visible though.

  • Probably Terra Pro

Open it in Audiobus, should still work then.

edit: or AUM. Standalone seems to be borked

  • Still works for me but the waveform creator/editor add on purchase always make it crash when I use it, I would say go with either Buttersynth or Tera Pro with the module waves iap

  • Sadly I didn't think of making imazing backup before resetting my old iPad. I didn't use scythe often enough to see any crashes or glitches, my experience was 100% smooth.

I think he stopped developing it because it didn’t earn enough revenue to for him to put time into it. It is shame, it was a cool app.

  • Waldorf Nave is still the wavetable app to top.

Yes I Agree If It Was An AUv3 How Great Would It Be !!!!

  • Was one of the first apps i slowly started investing in IAP, then one day just realized it was gone. I hope they steal the tires off the dev's car. Nah, it was a good intro in to how interesting the sounds coming out of an iPad can be.
