Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Novembeat23 - second track made entirely in Logic Pro for iPad…

Very classy track. Really digging the use of randomness. Wishing there was some kind of final percussive storm after the break around 2:00 to build up intensity and dynamic. But the track already stands perfectly in its current form.
    Very nice work 👍

    Cool!

Thanks both. @JanKun - you're right. The last minute is a bit "samey", I think. It needs another element.

I like this a lot! What all are you using here? The drums/percussion is fantastic 👏

    Thank you!

The drums and percussion started out as an Apple Loop that I mangled in Beat Breaker. I added Skaka for shakers

For the lead synths and chords, I used FabFilter Twin3 and a few instances of Sample Alchemy with the X and Y controls automated. Some of these went through Beat Breaker too. Oh and FF Volcano on one instance of Sample Alchemy.

Bass was a Moog D15 patch.

Most tracks had various amounts of added delay and Chromaverb.

  • Nicely different, not too long, enjoyed the panning via headphones, video went well with the music… 👍
