Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Songwriter's Notebook
If you write lyrics, what app are you using to help you write and store your ideas? Have you tried any apps for saving lyrics, preferably that can be synced between devices? I'm not interested in another app to write beats or record audio tracks, just lyrics (well, melody ideas too might be helpful).
Thanks.

I'm using "Songwriter's Pad" for a couple of years now.I like it a lot,it has a good search engine
for words, rhymes etc.You can sync your devices too.But there are other apps for sure, which I
don't know....
Onsong is a good one too

I just use Evernote, useful because it can sync to more or less anything, be it iPad, iPod, desktop etc... Also good for attaching snippets of audio or even snaps of some of the more unusual chords I come up with when writing songs.
Might look as some more specialised options.
I use iA Writer for iPad letters. Great interface. Best kbd, clean screen.
iA Writer is nice. Noteshelf is excellent (if your needs match its skills and I use it every day, especially in conjunction with the most useful writing tool (for me): Simplenote. Just what it says, but works everywhere and immediately.
I have a lot of word processors and note taking apps. First I bought was Notes Plus and next Noteshelf, but Noteshelf lacks audio recording, and entering text is just a pain (if yoy want modify it, manage pages, etc.).
Now, there are several good options. One all-in-one purpose is Textilus, where you get word processor and PDF note taking in the same app. Good support (15 updates this year).

There's a Lite version:

I just use the Notes app thing on the IPad. I use the voice-to-text thing when I'm too lazy to type (or when I'm singing a line). And it synchs over to my phone so I can edit or add stuff when I get a moment. I've got plenty of apps to record if I get a melody (MTDAW on my phone) but they don't automatically synch over. It would be nice to record something and have it show up on all your devices, like a photo or text will. I probably don't know how to set it up...

Evernote can do that.
