DJ Style Filter

I’m looking to add a DJ style filter (low pass one way, high pass other way, some resonance) to the master out on Loopy Pro. I’d assign a midi knob to this.

Has anyone cobbled such a thing together with Loopy’s internal effects? Can you share how you did it?

If not, what would be the simplest most stable plugin for the job. I saw someone suggested popsicle but I just want to make sure whatever I use is simple and stable since it will be used for live performance.

In case anyone else is interested, I did find another thread where folks recommended some DJ style filter patches in Drambo. This one seems to work pretty well

I haven’t used this app in particular but I do have the JAF collection which included this filter (plus many more) and sound wise it’s excellent.

Also if you already have a filter and LFO plugin you could just do slow sweeps with an LFO.

If you have Drambo, someone posted such a patch for Drambo.

You can also try this in Loopy Pro:

• add a low pass filter and a high pass filter
• Add a slider
• add two adjust effect parameter actions to the slider. One for controller range 0 to 50% that controls the low pass cut off and one to range 51% - 100% that adjusts the high pass cutoff.
• You will need to experiment with the cut off ranges. You could also control resonance.

I second Koala FX! Koala Sampler is my main music creation app. And Koala FX has all those wonderful live effects which you can use in any AUv3 host.

I second Koala FX! Koala Sampler is my main music creation app. And Koala FX has all those wonderful live effects which you can use in any AUv3 host.

Atomizer from 4Pockets is also really good as well.
