Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Oh this is interesting!.
I looove the IVCS3 app, just love how it sounds and looks. BUT it’s very complicated, not straightforward or intuitive at all.
Do I want to spend the time necessary to master this amazing app?. No,
If I had the same but in hardware, with real knobs and pins?. Definitely.

If it comes out, if it is £600 or less, then I’m interested.

I’m still waiting for that UB-X (that was demoed live years ago)

Why yawn? He’s right. Behringer loves to announce things and never release them. That’s common knowledge at this point

  • iVCS3 is maybe my favorite synth app ever and the hardware unit has been a dream machine for me for well over a decade. I don’t really have the space right now and I’ve basically sworn off Behringers synths due to past experience. But this will be hard to pass up.

Also I can’t lie, due to space constraints, those little Volca like synths have my attention too.

    🤣

  • I learned synthesizers on one of these at University... I have to confess I didn't get very far ... but I kind of want one!

Because if Behringer haven’t been releasing synths over the last 7 years, I’d really love to see what happens when they do!

What is common knowledge is the list of synths they have released, that’s a very big list given the timeframe.

Why yawn, the joke, it’s the same thing time and time again.

It’s barely a joke at this point. You’re acting like it’s not also common knowledge that Behringer have a habit of announcing things they’ve never released. Even die hard Behringer fans I know will say this. Are you really defending them that much? You may be the biggest Behringer fan I’ve seen if so lol

Also no one is saying they’re not releasing synths. Where did you see that comment?

  • I just wish they release the knobby midi controller thing

  • @sevenape : indeed ! The BCR2000, is it? I’ve been wanting that since they first mentioned it. Been years now…

that was the original one, I think the new one is bcr32, but yeah that one!! Can't justify for a midi fighter twister but I think the behringer one will (if it ever comes out) be much cheaper

  • Yep, that’s the one. Has an integrated sequencer. Sounds really cool, but, eh, Behringer promises…

What I’m saying is they released so many synths In such a short space of time, I can think of any manufacturer that compares, in synth history can you? Now given they present to the public what they intend to release, often asking for opinions, I think this is fairly rare amongst manufacturers too.

BTW there was a pandemic that interrupted everything on earth.

The above is just fact, not childish nonsense that others post.

Oh there was a pandemic? I must have missed that, thanks! Gotta start keeping up with the news I guess.

And to be fair those issues existed before that. As did the many quality issues with their equipment. There’s lots to criticize about Behringer, even from their loyal fans in the Facebook group, so I’m not sure why you’re so adamantly defending them here. Don’t think Behringer needs us on the front lines for their reputation.

And I looked back up and didn’t see any childish nonsense. Did someone delete some comments or something?

  • Quality control could be a particular concern for this synth. Behringer has already admitted it has had issues developing the pin matrix:

Oof not a good sign. Behringer makes a lot of cool stuff but after the issues I’ve had when their synths, I’m not comfortable spending more then the price of the little baby ones on their gear anymore lol. Though this one is very tempting.

I have criticised Behringer before if you didn’t know. Quite a few of their synths are demoed well ahead of release, Solina, 2600, Pro 800 to name a few, these have all been subsequently released.

When you state never released, what do you mean, have they provided you with a release date and not fulfilled that date?

If I’m somehow defending Behringer, well that’s irrelevant, I am just presenting facts, if you just don’t like Behringer be honest and say it.

Lol I’m not being dishonest. It’s not about liking or disliking Behringer, and I’ve been pretty open about me general dislike of them on this sub since I’ve been on here even so. Also criticizing a company doesn’t mean you don’t like them. Not sure why you seem to be directing this straight at me when this entire thread, most other Behringer threads, and most of the synth community at large, have the same critiques.

And yes, they provided me with exact release dates for every product they’ve announced down to the millisecond and half of them never came to fruition 👿

That said, It certainly feels like you’re rushing to the front lines in defense of them but that’s cool, we all have our allegiances 👍🏻

I think that and the VCS3 are the two things I’m really interested in, but I’m not going to hold out hope that either will be anytime soon.

  • The mini would also be interesting, and a lot cheaper, if it has the same sounds… Was supposed to launch in summer.

I don't use Facebook either. But I'll repeat. Did you read the Facebook post? Because it is the answer about your link, so your link is pretty useless in the context of the post.
