Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Smaller version of the Waldorf Iridium (Iridium Core)

Next year I need to be richer

I like small. Just this functioning as a stage module and the Linnstrument and go play with the band.

Before someone says, but I can do all that with blah blah auv3 and its 20 bucks, yeah we know

  • I’ve owned a few Waldorf pieces over the years (Blofeld, Rocket, Streichfett) and they’ve all been great. I’ve been interested in their newer synths for a while now. This is pretty cool. I know some people dislike it but I like the sound of Waldords synths.

  • looks awesome, if i had the cash i definitely buy the quantum.

Iridium is quite possibly the most powerful hardware synthesizer in the world.
I own the full desktop and it’s insane what it can do.

That core is a few less voices and knobs but the same engine. You can’t go wrong.
It’s also a full multisampler with sample robot 6 support.

The analog filters on quantum are nothing special for the amount of money you pay…get iridium and run it thru an Erica synth syntrx II

  • So the $2k Syntrx is the economical way to get an analog filter?…🤔

No, but the filter in that thing is sweet…plus it’s also a phat analog synth, plus it’s a crazy play ground of sound with 2 audio inputs and the iridium core+ syntrx II is 4000…unless you buy it from Thomann it’s cheaper…which is 1000.00 cheaper than quantum mkii

So yes, more economical than quantum which is just an iridium with analog filters that are meh and they half your voice count BTW. When it comes to Waldorf the digital filters are best sorry.

Didn’t know it was a multisampler! I’d love to get one when I have the space again. That’ll be a while though.

  • WHICH blah blah auv3 ???
