Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Help With Charger with 2 USB Outs
Hi,
I have a pedalboard with (a) Audio Interface (b) MIDI Controller with 2 expression pedals coming in (c) Power ====> all coming into a Uni USB Hub, which has a line out to my iPad.
When I use my original iPad charger to charge the Uni USB Hub, the power flows through into the iPad. When I use my original iPad charger, I just use AA batteries to power the Audio interface. [Yes - I know I can use the same USB cable that is sending the audio signal to the Uni USB Hub to power the audio interface; but I am nervous using the exact same cable for audio transmission and power transmission will affect my sound?]
HOWEVER - when I use an "Amazon Special" charger which as or allows for 2 USB outputs - see the picture. The iPad doesn't charge, but the audio interface does charge. I believe that when I use the Amazon Special USB charger, that I am using a good quality USB cable that supports power. I know some cheaper cables do not.
ANY THOUGHTS?
Is there a better quality USB charger with 2 outputs? It is likely just the cable?
Thanks

Hi. Some questions:
1. It looks like you may have put part of your explanation in backticks (markup
code
format), so part of it is truncated. Could you try posting it again?2. If your iPad is USB-C, you'd need a USB-C charger for the power to flow from the USB hub back to the iPad. A conventional 5V charger lacks the brains for this. And you'll need a USB-C charger with enough power (watts) to power the hub, connected devices, and the iPad.
Edit: I see by your pix that you are using USB-C, so that is likely the problem. You should try powering the audio interface from the hub – that may require a larger USB-C charger.
@uncledave Thanks for your reply. I bought a 65W USB C charger, and I will use that to charge the Uni Hub. Then it will provide power to the Audio Interface through the audio input, and then to the iPad through cable going from the hub to the iPad.
