Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Nah. I'm good. :) But I'm interested to see what'll be new.

    • also available for iPad. For FREE.

    Imagine that :-D

  • Yeah. I’m more interested in the Behringer news.

  • From what is known this event will primarily focus on new Apple Watch(es), iPhone(es) and revamped AirPods.

Biggest news will be USB-C across the board with USB2.0 speeds on the lower end iPhones and thunderbolt speeds on the 'Pro' iPhones.

The release dates for the OS version (tvOS17, iOS17, iPadOS17, WatchOS something, and MacOS Sonoma) will also be made public.

As usual large portion of the time will be spent on showcasing stupid gimmick features that no one really cares about...
...and a bunch of them will NOT be included from day one but rather Q1'24 or Q2'24 just in time for WWDC'24 when it's time for a new OS... (Heck not even all features that were planned for iOS16 have been shipped yet LOL).

I know my iPhone 8 will not be supported by iOS17 so I'll keep using it until it breaks (or some 'services' for on-line banking require higher than iOS16).

  • I would also love it if Apple could make it so columns in Finder column view auto-resized to fit the content.

And a way to organize photos properly.

I’m not wanting much. Just a few basic things fixed.

Now that they have announced it maybe it will be available sometime within the next 5 years.

With the pending updates of iBassist, Koala, and the recent update of Drambo (midi import/Export), Modular (AUM) is looking very nice.. too..

I wonder if this surprising, if relative, lack of interest (which I also share, I'm totally indifferent about their event tomorrow) is just slow business on the ABF or a sign of a more general phenomenon regarding Apple news.

I guess the more recent phones are just so good that the urge to upgrade is not quite as strong as it used to be.

  • I'd guess the only reason to upgrade to a 15 is (possibly) USB-C. Since I don't need to rely on USB-C, I'm fine with my recently-acquired 14 Pro Max. Already completed an instrumental on it in NS2.

  • I’m excited about usb-c, a new battery (my iPhone 13 Pro’s battery has gotten worse and worse) and a bit more juice for Loopy Pro. That’s about it!

  • edited September 2023

honestly usb-c on phone would make me consider buying it .. iťs annoyig to have different charging cables for my iPad and iPhone

but most probably will not do it cause my wife will not allow me to do it for such dumb reason 😂😂😂😂

  • USB-C will do it for me as well, as well as a hopeful Logic Pro update a few days later due to iPadOS17 release

  • bummer there was never a usb-c headphone jack device :/

Last year iPadOS16.1 dropped about one month after iOS16 was released and I would not be surprised if that's the case with iPadOS17 as well...

  • Without knowing anything about electronics, protocols, etc., I would've liked for the lightning connector to become the standard, the "tongue" in the USB-C receptacle makes me think it's more fragile and harder to clean.

  • Thunderbolt transfer speed will be a good upgrade. Moving media and doing backups would benefit a lot from USB-C upgrade.

Is it true that the non-Pro phones might be stuck on USB 2.0 speeds?? That (if true) would be incredibly pathetic for 2023.

All I wish for is for older models prices to drop. I need a new(ish) phone

    I heard it's true.

Although I never us my charging port for data. Everything gets backed up in the iCloud or sent wirelessly. The port only gets used for charging.

  • Apple should have the courtesy of calling the new usb-c iPhone (whenever it comes out) the EU-edition, given how they had to be forced to take the jump 😉

  • The new iPhone SEU

  • Very much looking forward to finally getting all my USB devices on the C train at last. iPhone and AirPods were the last hold outs, so I’ll be upgrading day one.

  • Maybe I’m being paranoid but my battery seems to discharge a lot faster anytime there’s one of these apple events (and no I’m not hitting refresh more than usual, I couldn’t care less)

  • I’ll take that back about being interested in the Behringer news.
