Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
M2 iPad Pro Thunderbolt to AVB adapter ?
I’m searching for a live solution. I have yet to dive into AVB…but being able to run channels over a single 300ft cat6e cable with under 2ms Latency has me excited!
Do the new iPads with TB4 and latest iOS 16/17 support AVB with the appropriate adapter?

So far, yet possible…but this does not seem to work…
an iOS developer has yet to bring an AVDECC Controller app to iOS…seems possible if such discovery was implemented…maybe it can be done within a host app…Logic Pro, AUM, SonoBus, Loopy Pro ???
That Caldigit dock doesn’t support it. I tried it with a Mac, and if you Google it (or look on Reddit), you’ll see that not many USB-C or even Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapters support AVB.
thanks! I was not sure on the Caldigit 3…maybe the new version 4 works???
I removed it from my original post!
Sonnet says the 10G Solo supports both iOS and AVB!
Do you think it’s just a matter of a controller app to get it to work? All i’ve done so far is plug an RME 12mic into the 10G adapter and started launching every host on iOS 🤣
Looks like it is possible since iOS14
