Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Apple Watch
Hey Guys, I'm realizing now, so Apple puts a computer with touchscreen in a watch???
Comments
Time will tell how good a product it really is.
I'll defintely keep a close watch on the progress of it.
Some amazing tech in that thing.
I wonder if you can detect distance with bluetooth? I see a theramin app, paired with an ipad.
Sounds like the computer is your phone, the watch is just a display.
I'm thinking: no a controller bluetooth of other devices like Google Glass, it's a real device with memory, apps, internet, etc....it's crazy
I have to give apple a big hand for the time they've spent on it. I'm not counting the seconds until it's released, but on the face of things it sounds like they've been ticking right along.
Timely commentary @boone51
Watch out for how long it takes to suck the power out of it.
And the display is so small, don't wont to read my mails on it.
And I don't want to dictate my mails to Siri.
I couldn't be less interested in my heartbeat.
Usually I am an early bird, but this does nothing I want to do, now.
NFC is nice - but not in the EU ...
Sorry, didn't mean to wind you up.
That's OK I'm not highly strung
certainly ticks off my list of essential features.
though I'm quite alarmed at the price.
I may wait to purchase one second-hand.
@Hmtx One second hand won't be much good without the hour and minute hand :-D
I love my single hand watches!

Sorry, haven't got time for this.
Time for @paulb to turn up, isn't it? I'll be watching.
I'm just glad the band wrapped up the announcement...
aren't you too?
Yeah, I really didn't give a second thought to PaulB showing up in here. I guess he'll chime in when the time is right.

Well, don't you think it's about time?

Wait a minute... I second that!!!
Time's up and the the times they're changing ........

I second that emotion ..........
Wait - hang on ... I'm missing something ;-) Isn't a watch supposed to tell the time? How on earth is going to help us know the time if we're doing all sorts of other things on it? Great way to miss appointments ;-)
Also - can you set it fast? When I did wear a watch (over 25 years ago and likely never again - and never costing more than about $25) I always set it fast.
There seems to be a downside to this tech - or maybe - I'm missing something.
Well tick tock - time flies... Gotta run - I think - or maybe it's my pulse or blood pressure or something. Could be my Cubasis beat monitor. No - I really am late!
I see where you've planted your tongue into your cheek and all but I agree - that's a fair question! I always used to set my watches a little fast. It was also 25 years ago.
I think the last time most people wore a watch was 25 years ago
And the reason I'd slap a very stealable $349 item on my wrist now, in constant view, (as opposed to my iPhone which I can take out and use where I want) is what? ;-)
Oh - yeah - I need to know my heartbeat constantly - that's it! Forgot... ;-)
^very true!
