Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

That certainly seems promising, thanks for sharing.
Ooo fingers crossed my old air 3 will cope!
If it turns out that my 8th gen iPad won’t run this I’ll probably go with Toonsquid instead. It also looks very nice:

No but it’s much cheaper than a new iPad
Probably not but if his iPad won’t support it, what’s he to do?
ex Disney guy using procreate dreams only (except the score). Disney style not my thing but shows the app aint too shabby!
Clearly a highly skilled animator. No tools will make a terrible animator a great one, but with the rise of machine learning I'll bet new systems will be able to make an adequate animator out of an inexperienced one.
That's incredible! And I know ProCreate Dreams will be right up my alley once I get a handle on it that is, lol.
You must keep in mind that this animated short was created by a guy who actually worked at Disney as an animator, so...
I've been following Aaron Blaise for years. I already know he's a top-level animator. You're not telling me anything I don't already know. I'm thinking that this will finally be the animation app I can easily use to learn how to animate and practice on.
I took an animation course in uni, have read the Animator's Survival Guide, and it's not like there aren't a plethora of Youtube videos on the subject out there, and there's always Udemy if I want to teach myself even further.
And I know animation takes a lot more time than most people would anticipate. However, just as ProCreate is a top-level art creation app that cuts through the b.s., I'd imagine ProCreate Dreams would have the same ease of use.
Can’t you do it in Drambo?
(I’ll get my coat)
LOL! 😂
The realtime drag and record will be great for cheapo/fun AI bash Terry Gilliam styled animation.
Oh, now that sounds up my street!
Yep, I’m really looking forward to this. “Immediate Purchase!”
Or whatever the kids are saying these days…
What I really want to know is, how did they implement 3D painting? 😲
Same here! Sounds fun.
Maybe the South Park guys will move production to iPad Pro and churn out new episodes in a mere 3 days instead of 6...
Story on Cartoon Brew (an animation centric site) about Procreate Dreams.

The robots may have them beat soon.
has there been any mention of USDZ import/compositing ?
I think you will be fine, the cutoff will probably be closer to the iPad 6 2018
Lol.
God...I hope the writers win. That was painful to watch.
If the writers don’t win it’ll be very difficult for me to watch any new movies or tv shows.
We'll at least with Dreams you can make your own haha
There's one thing we have that AI lacks - ingenuity. Maybe popular media will be overtaken by AI, but we in our own little corner of the net mostly make music for each other to listen to and enjoy and to post for others to enjoy as well.
Agreed. I think overall people will prefer and connect more to art made by actual people. I just hope some things are put into place so it doesn’t make it where no one can make a living off of their art. Crazy times for sure.
Movie night with the family featuring a shitty animated movie I made in 4 hours on my iPad 😂
