Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

It was fun to make. Hopefully it's reasonably fun to listen to.

I hope you like it. A pox on you if you don't

Thank you. I never expected to inspire anybody so that’s quite humbling really :-)

The voxesses? ( :) ) were made from sampling a vocal track from one of my old songs (not me I’m not a singer!). I made instruments in Logic with various chops from the vocal, andded way too much delay and then just played the melodies in with a midi keyboard.

Thank you, I appreciate you actually wanting to listen to more stuff.

I simultaneously think what I make is good and I’m proud enough to share it but also think nobody else will ever like it or want to listen!

Thank you. :) Gotta love a speak and spell. And I can’t help myself with the vocoder :)

I’m sure I’ll overuse the speak and spell samples again one day.

I have a novation circuit and set it up with some speak and spell sounds in the drum map so they’re sure to get another run out one day. I can’t help stick them in all over the place

Oh, yeah! Getting early doom wave vibes from this, crunchy vocals and the speak n spell. Excellent stuff. SPK maybe…

    A health and safety nightmare!

  • Is there a way to make soundcloud stay logged in? Trying to show support with a ❤️, takes me to Scloud, have to Login AGAIN, then sends me back here, Heart again, takes me right back to Scloud -"connect?" YES, dumbshit. Repeat... how do i even know if the heart is clicked or not?
    Anyway, AWESOME song here, @klownshed

Thanks! "Doom Wave"! I think I like the idea of being Doom Wave :) I have literally no idea what genre any of my stuff could fit in, other than it sounding far from current!

Thanks. I'll take the ❤️ whether or not Soundcloud wants to give it to me or not :)

  • ❤️❤️❤️

  • I’m glad to say I’m completely pox free… I liked it a lot.
No idea what was happening half the time but incredibly catchy 🙏

  • I like this. It would have been in regular rotation at Mothers on Division (Google it) back in my young, clubbing days. I especially enjoyed the vocal bits and the panning, and how you doubled the beat at 1:52. Great track that reminds me of good times, good friends, and good music.

Glad you’re free of pox!

Thank you for listening and taking the time to comment. Appreciate it and feel bad that I don’t do it more for other peoples music!!
