What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

A slightly mad GeoShred thrash with a backing provided by Riffler and Piano Motifs.
The GeoShred part was just one preset, recorded in one take and hopefully it shows what you can do with this fantastic app.

    Awesome stuff @GeoTony! I bought the pro unlock of Geoshred a while back but never dove into making my own patches much. Funny enough I was doing that last night and made some insane sounds! The physical modeling aspects can lead to some weird but often beautiful sounds.

    Thanks @HotStrange . I agree and think the physical modelling side is sometimes forgotten about.
    Funnily enough this is more or less the straight Gong Lead patch but put through a few effects and using the presets onscreen Material, Stiffness, Vibrato etc controls.

    Which reminds me, in GeoShred, is there a setting somewhere to limit the range of that whammy slider?

    There certainly is Edward, if you go to the control surface and click on the Whammy control and then click on the word Whammy you get the window below which lets you control the range in semitones as well as a few other things.

    Definitely seems forgotten about. Hell even I forget it’s a full physical modeling synth and not just samples sometimes. Well not necessarily full but it does offer a lot. I think it’s well worth the $25.
