Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

GarageBand buffer settings inside of AUM or AudioBus?

  • Is there anybody who tried GarageBand inside of AUM? Does GarageBand respect the AUM audio buffer size settings?
I tried GB in AudioBus and GB didn't follow AB buffer size at all.
I would like to have GB as my primary "DAW" for guitar recording and I'm still searching a way how to force GB to go lower than default 256 samples.

You might want to start a new topic about GarageBand and buffers or ask in an existing GB thread. GarageBand may have its own buffer system. I don’t recall GB having a buffer setting. It has a lot of tricks up it’s sleeve to maximize the number of tracks it can play at once…super-low latency may not be in its bag of tricks.
