Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Thank you for one of the best apps ever!

  • One of the all time great music apps - all power to you!

  • Yes... my favorite... by far.

  • One of the first music apps I got, and I still use it regularly. That's as good a testimony as you can get!

  • Ha...I got my first Iphone just because of TJ and that's the only app I had for a while!
.... And some of the palmsounds giveaways in the early days....

  • Thanks Jesse!!

  • It's come a long way baby.

  • Top app! Thanks.

  • Well, most of these bugs I should have had a release out months ago to fix, but it took iOS8 to finally force my hand to get it done. I should have recorded an example screech of what it sounded like running on iOS8 before I fixed it, it was rather wicked. I tweeted this at the time: "... turns out it was the sound of 16bit samples being treated as 32bit floats being treated as 24.8 fixed point."

This is how I talk to my wife in bed.

  • Thanks very much for the update.

And whatever you're doing, and however slow it may seem, keep at it.

Can we assume you don't have any kids?

  • Looks like I'm getting reports of strange behavior when Audiobus tries to launch TJ, and it appears reproducible. Anyone else see that? Seems to work OK if you launch TJ first and then try to connect in AB. Sigh.

  • Thanks for the hard work @sonosaurus!!!

    Hi.

Launched AB first, AUFX next, finally TJ. At firts, it shows "Port unavailable". But everythings work OK.

Thanks for the (free, never forget devs are workers as well) update!!!

Correction. The message keeps on AB panel, and no ON/OFF button when play TJ.

  • It's says "port unavailable " when AB opens TJ.. Also it doesn't send any audio to the AB chain...just direct to speaker
