Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Gadget Cubasis Question
Hi I'm new to this forum and using Audiobus. I've purchased a number of stand alone music apps for my iPad 3. I have some of the Korg apps including Gadget, iMS20, iElectribe, plus Funk Box and some synths. I just got my first iPad DAW.
I just took advantage of the Cubasis 30% off sale and have some questions relating to using Korg Gadget with Cubasis and Audiobus. I'm new at this but I figured out how to play the iMS20 with the Cubasis keyboard and record MIDI. Gadget has a lot of cool instruments. Is there a way to play Gadget instruments and record MIDI through Audiobus and Cubasis? Thanks.

Yea, it has midi clock sync (internal and from external) and full midi implementation for the gadgets now. So in theory it should work just like any other app via midi/IAA/Audiobus in Cubasis. Thing is, clock sync between apps is really bad in Gadget, it lags behind no matter how I set it up. So that's probably gonna need some clean up and an update from Korg.
Yeah I'm finding out from some of my other posts that there are a lot of problems syncing up various apps. It seems to be the problem more often than not.
