Mapping midi controller knobs for effects, not possible?

I’ve been messing around with Logic Pro for iPad and my Akai MPK mini mk3. I’ve been able to map my pads to drum sounds but I haven’t quite figured out midi mapping knobs for effects and I’m starting to wonder if its not possible yet. Anyone try this yet?

    Seems that this feature is not (yet?) included 😕 Only selected instruments with explicit controller assignment let you allow to learn midi cc. Also HUI is not supported (yet?). Hope to see these features in version 1.1 …
