Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • My Push 3 standalone has arrived just started installing packs and setting up, was a pain to connect to my network initially but once connected and updated all was fine, if anyone wants to connect via Bluetooth Midi I can confirm the M-Vave MS-1 usb dongle works fine so far.

  • Congrats!! Good luck getting on with it. Hope it clicks for you :)

Thanks, I still keep forgetting about the 8 encoder’s above the screen :D they keep catching me out with menu changes, I think once that clicks I’ll be fine.

yeah, when I use it, I don't think about what it can't do. I just add tracks, start adding clips, do some basic tweaks and move forward and just keep getting the idea down. It definitely can't do lots of things that you're like "wtf, I can do this in Live" blah blah, but right now, don't worry about it :D I've got well over a hundred song starts done on it and I'll be able to grab any or all and continue working on them on desktop when I'm ready. Right now, I think of it as a hardware version of Note.

  • One thing that IS kind of strange is that tons of YouTubers are showing Live 12 Beta on the PC's, but nobody has shown anything with push 3 standalone and Live 12 Beta. That...seems a little weird. Like...maybe it won't be coming out at the same time? Dunno. Just would think they would be allowing all the "influencers" that have Live 12 Beta + Push 3 Standalone the ability to show it off.

When I get Live 12, I'll probably use my Push 3 with it in controller mode.

I can think of scenarios where I would use Live 12 and Push 3 at the same time. Live 12 for arrangement view, run the few VST and AU plugins I have... Push 3 as a Live 12 controller. In this scenario, setting Push 3 to standalone mode does not make sense to me - because in this mode Push 3 is not talking to Live 12 on the computer.

In theory i could just use my Push 3 - in standalone mode - as just another synth plugged into Live 12. Seems I'd be putting up unnecessary barriers though that don't need to be there.

Ha. I don’t have that many. I can’t help it. The colored pads do something to me 🤪

😂😂😂 fair enough. The only stopping me from acquiring more is space

  • Just updating my Push 3 SA to 1.2 anyone have any information regarding the release yet. Thanks in advance.

  • Not sure I understand your question, what release?

Thanks I think that covers it, but it’s not the beta it’s the full 11.3.20 release.

  • Release notes are on the Centercode forums where you downloaded the beta.

I didn’t download the beta, this is the OTA wifi update.

Just checked, this isn’t a beta, I’m not part of the beta team. Anyone else confirm this update.

  • Doh, sorry, I misread. The release notes are part of the Live release notes here:
