Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Essays on improvisation and keyboard technique

edited April 2023 in Knowledge Base

These are three essays summarizing the most important things my teacher, Connie Crothers, taught me about jazz, playing the piano and improvising. They profoundly affected my playing and the satisfaction I have gotten from playing these last 50 years.

  • Thanks for getting these together all in one place Mike. I’m looking forward to having a good read when I have some time without distractions.

  • Thanks for sharing. I’ll bookmark this thread.

You accidentally posted a double thread tho, Mike, it seems. Maybe ask Doug or Jo to delete one? I already bookmarked the other one lol, but this one seems busier, so maybe get rid of the other?

  • I clicked on the links only to realize I had already seen them before. Disappointing because I wanted more :) These are super interesting!

  • @pedro search Youtube for Connie Crothers. Among the vids of her playing she gives some interviews that you’ll find informative. Glad you got something out of the essays.

Thx @Gavinski, I decided to leave both as I never can figure how folks find this stuff as time goes by. Connie’s knowledge is invaluable.

I hope you enjoy the read @Edward_Alexander @Poppadocrock
