Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Nice collage of materials. How cool would it be to have a singer improvise over one of your creations?
Very cool, I say but I like the way you find materials to let you keep creating without any dependencies on others.

That would be great. Wanna give it a go? It’s available for free download on Bandcamp. I think I heard you sing once, and if I recall, you sound a bit like Leonard Cohen. Go for it!

I’m totally serious. You can be snowblinded by a lot of things… love, despair, joy, confusion. Write the first thing that comes to mind and sing or recite in a deep gravely voice. That would be Cugat.

@McD are you saying remove the existing vocal… or just the interstitial space and recording over all or partial.

Maybe as a harmony on the first part.

I especially like the end after 3:00, Paul. That’s nicely done.

  • Snowblind reminded me of our family trip to Lake Tahoe, years ago, with my whole family.
The snow was quite nasty, and we were literally snow blinded.
Love the guitar improv on this song, very melodic and so captivating.
The vocals is also very lovely.
Your creativity is simply impressive, definitely a collage of musical creations.
    Keep on generating loveliness!!!
    Thank you for this beauty!!!

No preference. I just like the idea of collaborating with a vocal part. I haven’t done anything like that yet. Thanks for listening.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. It was an epic blizzard. I was looking out my back door and couldn’t see more than five feet. I was so glad to be inside with nowhere to go. Thank you for the encouraging words. I hope you and your family have a blessed day.

  • The diversity of your work, its quality, and the speed with which you produce it is amazing. Another quality piece. I like it on its own, but if considering anything over the top, I'd probably wreck it with an ethnic flute or similar.

Please feel free to add something if you like. It's available for free download on my Bandcamp page. I really enjoy collaborating with other ABF members. I played in bands for most of my adult life and I miss working with other musicians. Thank you for the encouraging words!

  • My your working hard at the moment 😊
Really enjoyed this one, the middle section leading into the acoustic guitar especially. Nice laid back feel. Excellent 👍

Idle hands are the devil’s workshop. I have been playing around with soundscape things the last few days. It’s kind of nice and relaxing. I’m sitting out on my patio right now and it’s a really beautiful day. It’s probably evening for you. Thanks for listening. Have a nice night!

  • Not what I expected (a cover of Black Sabbath's own Snowblind)

Love the piano and the vocals.

I didn't even know Sabbath did a song with that title until just recently! I can still remember where I was when I first heard them in 1970. They were very different and caused a lot of excitement with their dark, spooky music.

    Thanks for listening!
