Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • @Gravitas : terrific. Sound design and performance both excellent. I especially like the drumming at the beginning.

    Thank you for listening.

    Glad you enjoyed it.
This current project is halfway there but I just wanted to share. :)

  • Here's the layout for DeepTime i.

All eight Tracks in this the project use this mapping.
It takes up eight User scenes on the LC XL.

The pads will be used as a 16 x step sequencer in the near future.

  • Very nice @Gravitas! Love the sounds, the groove, and really like the layout artwork!

    Thanks dude. 😏

  • I’m digging these synth and drum sounds… are you planning on productizing the work or just making it your signature sound?

I’ve been wondering if I should invest in a MIDI control surface. I have a nephew that uses an Akai Force and owns a lot of
Synth s and music production gear. He claims he was inspired by he showing him a keyboard at 12 and it changed his life.
His skills as a artist seemed like his path but I ruined that B)

It may become a part of my signature sound though at the
moment I'm experimenting with analog distortion textures
and their effect on the sound of oscillators,
classic synth design and exploring the differences
    between additive and subtractive synthesis.

I’ve been wondering if I should invest in a MIDI control surface.

It would be a good investment for sure.

    Good inspiration.

Your nephew is still an Artist.
Music is Art in multiple dimensions.
A tesseract is a classic example.

It looks good, I'll give it a listen when I'm back in the music room tomorrow.
I like my house music, plenty of stories there. ;)
and I have been known to write house music of my own.
