Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Record Waldorf Nave in Drambo

Is it possible to real time record what I'm playing in Nave, or I have to sample first and then load in?

Curious about your workflows when recording Inter App Audios

Comments

  • Drambo doesn't support IAA but using Audiobus or AUM with Drambo hosted inside should work.

  • Nave has a built-in multi-track audio recorder which can be used to record stuff that can then be exported for use with other apps.

  • Thank you guys! @rs2000 is there a demo video with Aum?

    On Youtube maybe?
I'm not recording over IAA anymore, I found the app switching procedure too fiddly and found an AUv3 alternative.

  • I understand…which is your Nave alternative?

  • I use Waldorf iridium as a Nave alternative.

Another option to plug IAA instruments into Drambo is to host them in AUM/AB and pipe the audio through SonoBus (free). I've read good things about Wireless Audio AUv3, but I haven't used it.

  • Cheers!
