Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

The text editing menu pops up in Animoog Z auv3

Hello everyone. The problem with Animoog Z auv3. When I press three keys, the edit text menu pops up. I tried to disable touch, but it doesn't work. Nothing appears in standalone works fine. IOS 16 iphone se3. On the ipad, both auv3 and standalone work without problems. Is this a bug or what? Thank you๐Ÿ™Œ

It's an iOS 16 feature. The app dev can override it. You should contact them.

See https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/1116089/#Comment_1116089. This might be a clue to a user fix: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/1116400/#Comment_1116400. There's more discussion here: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/1131219/#Comment_1131219.

I contacted Apple support. And wrote to Moog. Apple tried to help, but nothing worked. Moog just doesn't respond to emails. Other applications are working fine.

  • Might be worth tagging @MoogMusicInc as the drop in where once in a while :sunglasses:

    Thanks. Sent a message๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ

  • When I emailed moog before, I got a reply very quickly.

    https://moogmusicsupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

On this page there are three links to email Tech Support, App Support, and General Support.
I sent my email through the middle one, "App Support".

However, I only emailed moog once reporting an issue with the minimoog Model D app.
At that time, the reply email from moog stated that they had already received the same report from another user.
The situation may be different in your case and mine, so my post may not be helpful to you.

Thanks. I may have sent an email to another support department. I'll try again.

  • I discovered that I had only fixed this for iPad in AUM. Next update will fix it also for iPhone.

Well, I have not encountered such a problem on the iPad. Let's see if they fix it or not. But the fact is it's inconvenient

As I said, in AUM I had already fixed it for iPad, but I forgot to add the fix for iPhone as well. So that's why you haven't encountered it on the iPad :)

That is, this problem can be solved in AUM? I just thought the problem was Animoog. Well, if you fix this bug it will be great. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Yes it will be fixed in next AUM update. I don't know if the fix (tell iOS that we don't want the new fancy text editing menu) must be implemented in both host and plugin, but I know it's already done in Animoog Z.
