I thought I would share this in case anyone else has a PO that has decided not to turn on ever again (which is what happened to my PO Office a couple of years back). Have a look at:

Because I had nothing to lose (my soldering skills really are zero) I gave it a go - and (much to my surprise) it worked exactly like that post - and I have a working PO Office once again!
