Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

Gas:Synclavier Regen

Oooooh I want, I don’t need, but I want….but I don’t need dang.
I’m gonna drink out of a lot of aluminum cans so I can forget I seen it

  • Try the Arturia VST, it sounds pretty good.

  • Synclavier Go! is much better specified, is it not?

This is 12 part multitimbral, does Go have multitimbrality?

  • Regen also runs on an FPGA and has 98 voices of polyphony. Not too mention, each partial can now have up to 24 harmonics or up to 48 samples!

    What a cool device!
It's fun to see more and more synth hardware manufacturers switching to FPGA designs.
I'm totally missing the most sexy part of the Synclavier hardware though: Red illuminated B-52 buttons on a black anodized, brushed aluminum panel.
Cheap rubber buttons is not my taste looking at a high-end hardware synth in a time that the hardware itself has to make the difference compared to an excellent, super wide choice of softsynths.

The Arturia VST is also 12 part multi-timbral.

Ha! Aluminium cans have a plastic coating on the inside… so not a good route to Alzheimer’s! Sorry, you’ll just have to buy that amazing looking and sounding Regen 🙃

Very costly bit of hardware, but for a collector might be a nice addition to their lineup. I have a friend who picked up an original Synclavier... not really sure if it works or not, but it's real.

The Arturia VST is also 12 part multi-timbral.

With IAA the IOS version was 16part multi timbral (just as the original).
As an AUV3 Synclavier Go uses as much instances as desired for „timbrality“.
    (CPU cycles/memory limits may apply)

  • I’d love to have that but I could never afford it
