Novation Circuit Tracks and MidiSynthControl App.
Has the MidiSynthControl App by Lee Huddleston been abandoned now and are their any forum members still using the App with their Circuit.?
I originally brought the app and extension for the circuit when I had the original hardware.
However I sold the unit on a few years back but recently brought a second hand Circuit tracks.
I tried reconnecting both of my iPads one M1 pro and my old 9.7 Pro but had now joy with the Circuit Tracks connecting.
I notice the word Tracks is used in the IAP extension so assumed the new model would work.
Has anyone managed to achieve a connection?
Is the Components desktop application the only way to connect now ?

Yeah i never had much success with that app. The Desktop Components app from Novation is the way to go.

Have you contacted the developer? Quite a few people seem happy with the app for programming launchpads and launch controls. In another thread, someone mentioned the developer er fixing LCXL issues when they were reported to him.
It’s worth contacthe dev about the issue.
There’s also the Circuit editor on Patchbase for ipad. I remember trialling it and it seemed pretty good, if expensive.
If you are still looking for an affordable IOS editor that works for both the original circuit and the tracks: "NC Editor" is a new alternative that works very well on all major plattforms!
