Audiobus: Use your music apps together.
What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.
Download on the App StoreAudiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.
Music Studio is STILL amazing, and now owned by Steinberg? No longer Xewton?
I was mucking about with an old ipad Air and forgot I had this amazing DAW on it. The sounds are very good and the internal effects just give you more to love. IAA compatible synths/effects are a nice addition. The chord player was the first in all ios Daw's and now Steinberg bought the company? Not surprised to be honest. Music Studio was ahead of its time. Anyone got any info of this merger/takeover?

Was one of if not the first iOS Daw I ever bought. I have no idea what Steinberg buying the company means for the app, Will there be an overhaul of the app itself? Cubasis is already light years ahead of it at this point but it’s still running on my 2020 iPad Pro running the latest iPad OS, so maybe it’ll get a refresh but I don’t see them making it compete with Cubasis.
So they own Cubasis and Music Studio? I think we can guess what's going to happen to Music Studio.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, or has the programmer been hired by Steinberg and we can thank him partially for the Cubasis we have now? Either way we win, I guess?

Trivia: The original FL Studio Mobile was a reskinned version of Music Studio. The PC/Mac version of FL Studio still has a plugin synth called "MiniSynth" with the same interface design as Music Studio.
Big Facts
Never new that Steinberg purchased Music Studio.
Whatever that guess would be would have happened already. They bought it in June 2018. It's still around and was updated in Dec 2020.
FYI, from the wayback machine...
