Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

AB3: MIDI clock is only sent when transport is running. Should run all the time when enabled

I notice that when I use Audiobus 3 as MIDI clock source, the clock messages are only sent as long as the transport is running. I notice that for the sake of battery usage many app developers use this implementation although it is bound to cause trouble.
MIDI clock is meant to synchronize gear, and the clock messages should be sent all the time - regardless if the transport is running or not. The reason for this is that many (hardware) synthesizers need a short time for their internal clocks to lock on to the incoming MIDI clock. Stopping and starting the clock can cause trouble. All information about starting, stopping or continuing the transport is usually only transferred via the START, STOP and CONTINUE System Realtime messages, but not by switching the clock on and off.
Please provide an option to have permanent and uninterrupted clock messages.
