Audiobus: Use your music apps together.

What is Audiobus?Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

Download on the App Store

Audiobus is the app that makes the rest of your setup better.

  • Recently I tried recording a chordjam sequence into Drambo, and while it mostly worked - and aside from the editing issues others have described - the very first chord on beat 1 was recorded with only a quarter note’s length, and at a higher velocity than the rest. Something very weird going on here with sync, that I guess is mucking up the capture. If this is a known thing, I’d be grateful for a workaround.

so, finally i bought drambo but the first minutes are a bit emberassing. i’m having a hard time to manage the presets 😂

In the upper main menu, there is this „open“ button and from there u can find some („factory“) presets but only a small handful.

Below there the “files“ button and there are WAY more presets behind but they don‘t open when i tap on them (second picture. So, where is my idiot mistake?🤓 The presets from the“documents“ folder work but not from the“presets“ folder (i even tried to copy them into the documents folder but of course,it shouldn‘t matter where the files are stored)

@giku_beepstreet killer feature suggestion - drag note up or down in sequencer to scroll through the notes 🔊👾 instead of using those arrows in menu

  • @Crabman The presets are specific to each module. Opening the preset menu from a module will show that preset location by default - and I don't think you"d want to see 1000 unrelated presets in one huge list, right? ;)

@rvr You can do exactly that inside the piano roll while auditioning (the loudspeaker icon) is enabled.

  • Nah, would be great in original sequencer. Hate to use piano roll and this seems so simple to do.

  • @Crabman try this;

In the main menu, tap “New”

Select “8 tracks (MIDI to CV)” (this is a standard starting point)

Now tap on that blue + button, which should bring up this menu:

I think this menu is what you’re looking for.

When you open the “Instrument Rack” browser, you’ll then see “Factory”. This is where all of the “Factory preset” sounds and patches can be found.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions, but most of all, have fun! 😀

So I’ve had Drambo since it came out, and honestly, I think I’ve looked in that “files” menu maybe once or twice.

Forget about that part of that menu, you don’t need it.

    See my post above.

You know if you use the selection tool, you can change the note with these up/down arrows.

  • Yes I know and its painful, much more easy would be to drag up down. Like the note in euclidian module.
