What is Audiobus? — Audiobus is an award-winning music app for iPhone and iPad which lets you use your other music apps together. Chain effects on your favourite synth, run the output of apps or Audio Units into an app like GarageBand or Loopy, or select a different audio interface output for each app. Route MIDI between apps — drive a synth from a MIDI sequencer, or add an arpeggiator to your MIDI keyboard — or sync with your external MIDI gear. And control your entire setup from a MIDI controller.

I have to go back into threads to remember more
I wasn’t sure either. I think it is, I should have added it to my list but I’ve only just purchased, and trying to get my head around it. It sounds great though, and definitely unique.
I was thinking… it’s Hard to find a list of all releases by year. I just looked at my iPad, picked favorites, and if it release was questionable I searched on appsliced to see if I could find anything. It won’t give you exact release dates but will usually show you it’s original pricing with a date, if it’s changed in price.
In no particular order and only includes apps I have bought or won through prizes.

Atom 2 was this year, if so add that to my list lol.
I feel like some great midi fx apps got left out of a lot of top apps of 2021 lists. There are so many categories of apps though…
For me:
Loopy Pro is the standout release of the year.
There were quite a few excellent release this year but for me Loopy Pro is a real gamechanger (and I think it will change the game even more over the coming year).
Other favorites:
Chow Centaur -- this makes any amp sim sound better, imo.
Chow Matrix - even if it weren't free it would be a fave. Jatin's plug-ins rate with the best paid plugins.
Nembrini's BG Extasy -- if it had come out a year ago, I probably wouldn't have purchased another amp sim. It covers a range from clean to slightly crunchy to screaming and sounds great everywhere in between.
ID700 -- great-sounding synth with bonus points for being really unique and covering territory no other synth does

There were some excellent delays and what-not released this year but most exist within a space well-served already. This is not to knock them -- they just didn't change my arsenal the way the apps/plugins listed above did.

Not one.
So many made, so so many, maybe 50-100 a month over past year. Obviously in varying states, but none completely mixed and mastered. Some are mixed but not mastered. I love to create. I do think a decent percentage of them are worth finishing too, but I’m intimidated by the mastering process, both literally and figuratively. Plus I enjoy the front half (creation) a lot more then the back Half (fine tuning).
I need to incorporate my guitar and vocals more too, pull it all together.

Edit. - Update - I have released music before, maybe I’m overthinking it. the first couple times, it was literally hanging a mic from a ceiling or recording a live show, then posted on MySpace and some cd’s. When I first started messing with iOS i threw up several 30 second beats on SoundCloud, but that was a while ago now… bottom line, it’s high time i finished some tracks and get them out on the on line.
